How to explain your t-shirt
Because of farmers, wildlife & you Did you know that 11% of all pesticides and fertilizers worldwide are used to grow conventional cotton? These harmful chemicals end up in the air and soil which kills farm workers and wildlife. Besides, there's also the chance that these chemicals stay in the fibers, which means that once it reaches your skin it cause serious irritation and rashes.
Because of soil quality Because of all, it's chemicals, conventional cotton production strips the land of all its nutrients. The organic cotton production aims to replenish and maintain the fertility of the soil. Good, since it allows the earth's natural balance to be maintained.
Because of water supply Cotton takes a huge amount of water to harvest it well. This is a problem since it's mostly grown in developing countries. The organic cotton production uses less water and relies more on rainfall for hydration.
What is combed organic cotton? Combed cotton is a kind of cotton that has been combed to make the yarn stronger and softer. The combing process also rids the batch of shorter fibers and impurities, which results in a finer, stronger and more compact cotton. Combed cotton is considered higher-quality and softer than cotton that hasn't been combed.
